about me

I’m George, a visual thinker and doer. I love what I do. 

I worked at Sapient in the glory days and I recently worked at ICF NEXT. I help companies reach their users and business goals through award winning design thinking. I manage a team of professionals to pull this off and the saying ‘it takes a village’ most definitely applies here.

My career started off in comm arts at VCU with some of the giants of design including Meggs, Davis and Day. I will never forget the knowledge they passed down to me and its what led me to continue my education in grad school where i proceeded to get my butt handed to me - but hey, that's the point of it right!

I have always loved to tinker and figure things out from the inside. My love for exploration and the arts lead me to extreme backing which I have enjoyed for many years with my kids. Pushing myself to the limits and being aware that I am never in control has prepared me for many of life's challenges. I also enjoy many other hobbies including home theater, classic car restoration and astronomy.

I have learned to not ignore my gut and to never be afraid of change. These insights along with many others are what I hope to pass along on my journey in life to others, especially my kids who are amazing and always surprise me.
